A Leadership Schools
We want you to know about Arizona's public schools that achieve a state grade of ‘A’ while serving mostly low-income students. An 'A' grade indicates both high levels of achievement and high achievement gains by students in a given year. Arizona uses a federal definition of low-income that translates roughly to $44,000 of annual earnings to support a family of four.
A Leadership Schools participate in quarterly meetings with each other, and they offer and participate in school tours for themselves and community or state leaders. A for Arizona events throughout the year improve our understanding of their work, and facilitate relationships and partnerships among this incredible group of talented school leaders.
